Happy Thanksgiving!
For those possibly growing weary of jumping off and on a perfectly good bicycle, or those looking to reduce the guilt of all the calories you will be consuming later in the day, this race may be for you. This years course will be a kinder gobbler than in the past with a crushed gravel path and paved road loop. All kinds of bikes and equipment will be allowed. 5 loops of a 4.1 mile course.
Come out and feel the thrill of bagging your dessert as the pilgrims did long ago and still have plenty in your legs to Jingle.
The Knobby Gobbler Thanksgiving day race will take place at Lake Macbride Registration and start will be at the boat ramp on Opie Ave. which is about a mile and three quarters before the park entrance or 3.2 miles west of Solon.
