Results Tech Tach Teicher
The second Tech Tack Teicher (sponsored by Two Bee Racing) started out on a sunny morning with temps in the 60s and a brisk SSW wind.
The race started out at a quick pace with Gary McNabb pulling away from the pack for an early lead. The group split early. With a great effort by John Adamson, the second group bridged back with the lead group. This lasted until some serious hills in Cosgrove permanently split up the peleton. Gary was eventually reeled in by the group with Josh Madsen bridging up. Ryan Jacobsen then took the lead, during which there were several attacks. Josh Madsen went after Ryan with Sean Walker in pursuit and left the pack behind. When Sean caught them, he made his move and took the lead to the finish line for the win, with Ryan Jacobsen coming in second and Josh Madsen a close third. Great job, racers!
A special thanks to Bike Tech members for their great showing.

TT Anouncement
I am asking for some help from people attending the Two Bee events. With the world moving faster every year and urban sprawl leaving less country roads available, we are having more incidents of complaints to the sheriff from angry motorists. All I ask is to share the road with the cars. Please stop clustering up several wide into the road at the starts of the TT’s. If warming up or cooling down with someone, please go single file when a car approaches. For everyone’s sake please don’t ride in the middle of your lane or cut tangents during the TT. Our Thursday night series has a wicked sunset to drive into and with bikers going in both directions this it could become a very dangerous situation. 3 or 4 feet from the edge should be your limit. The farmers even get over as far as possible or they too could take up the whole road.
Please don’t misunderstand, I greatly appreciate everyone who comes out and love to see you, but if this is asking too much perhaps an event on a closed course may be a better event for you. Riders who ride down the middle of the road during a TT often force a passing car into the path of a returning rider. Riders who continue to ride down the middle of the road during these events face disqualification. I say this in the name of safety and not getting kicked off the courses. We have already lost courses in Swisher and North Liberty and convenience is part of what we are trying to offer. I don’t want to be the middleman in a range war between the motorists and the bikers.

The second Lisbon TT will be Sat. May 12 at 8:00 am. Registration and start is on the corner of Hwy 1 and F14.

Cost is $13. Usual beer, pies and baked goods for awards.
