Caseys Convenience Store: A big thanks goes out to Casey’s General Stores, they just jumped up to become our major sponsor of the year, really fantastic. I can’t tell you how much this means to Two Bee Racing and Conn most of all. As a musician touring around smaller towns, I have a huge appreciation of Casey’s, many times it was the only place in town open after 5:00, and they had everything I needed. I had some great pizza in southern Iowa, saved my night while I was playing in a VFW bar, same night I got my blues name “Skinnyboy” Edwards, but that’s a whole other story. Big thanks to Casey’s for everything they do.
Perkins Restaurant/Bakery: These masters of indulgence donate a couple of these Cat 1 pastries to each event. It is no secret that when the going gets tough outside and the real racers are separated from the guys just playing around, you can likely as not find us Two Bee guys inside at Perkins.
Scheels: This is the home of the Bees. The team started here and every season still starts around tall Brad Alderson’s generous support and ends around Jason Weldon’s hard work at coming up with a series raffle award. Enough can’t be said about the store or its people.
Dale Lee Distributing/Budweiser: These guys have been on from the start. Every year they give monetary support to Miracles In Motion as well as a couple cases of beer to each event. They make our banner and are just plain nice people to work with. Dale Lee people make putting on this many races bearable. Budweiser is everything you could hope for in a sponsor. Thanks!
Iowa City Cycling Club: In what has to be a first in the competitive world of cycling, the ICCC has shown it’s willingness to support the sport in all ways possible by making a monetary donation to our cause thus backing our series. And to think we were thrilled just to have them show up at our events, crush us into the dust and show us how it should be done. They not only make our series real racing, the make it happen. Talent with class!
Midwest Physical Theraphy: They have joined our team of riders and sponirship, so if you some help, do not hesitate to call them after a long ride or race.
The Home Repair Team: As once agian been added to our sponsorship list, so if you need any kind of home repair, please give these guys a call. The are located near Swisher for fast service.
Bobcat of Ceder Rapids: I don’t know about you, but I enjoy driving Bobcats. Never tried it? Go buy one then, it will put a smile on your face in no time.
Clothing
Team Jersey
When we have enough people interested in jerseys, we place an order through Hincapie SportsWear. Pricing runs around $70, the more orders the cheaper the jersey. Now that our club has dwindled a bit in numbers, it’s unlikely we will have an order soon. If you are interested in owning one of these classics, please let me know. When we have enough I’ll put in an order.

The Kent Park Classic is a 6 lap circuit race. It’s approximately 4 miles per lap for 24 miles total. Registration starts at 7:30 am and race starts at 8:30 am. All riders start together, and end on the same lap. Expect to be riding with 99 other riders, not all fast, not all slow, you are sure to find groups going your speed on the course. Lots of hills break this race wide open, it was my first race and is still one of my favorites.
The atmosphere is friendly but not without competition, prizes are beer and baked goods, here is the current flyer
